Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between CREW Network membership and CREW Atlanta membership?

CREW Atlanta is an affiliate organization of CREW Network. Therefore, a member of CREW Atlanta is also a member of CREW Network. This global Network is comprised of 75+ affiliate organizations with a total membership of more than 12,000 CRE professionals.

While the overall purpose and goals of CREW Atlanta reflect those of CREW Network, CREW Atlanta has its own unique structure allowing it to meet the needs of its market. CREW Atlanta uses CREW Network's qualified fields of commercial real estate (QFCRE) to guide its membership criteria and experience prerequisite, and determine its own dues, programs, and member activities.

How often do you meet? What’s the time commitment for membership?

CREW Atlanta typically holds a luncheon once a month and periodically hosts additional professional development/networking events.

We encourage members to get involved on a committee to help maximize your membership experience. Committee participation can vary, but each committee normally has a one-hour meeting or conference call once a month.

What are the benefits of membership?

As a CREW Atlanta member, you have access to all local and CREW Network benefits:

  • Business development and networking opportunities
  • Information exchange
  • Opportunities for professional and personal growth
  • Community service and philanthropic contributions
  • Leadership development through our ‘Leadership CREW’ program
  • Friendship and camaraderie with peers
  • Members-only meetings and Behind the Scenes events
  • Career outreach through Job Bank Member-to-member business referral
  • Exclusive access to CREWbiz, an online business networking tool, membership directory, speakers’ directory and personal marketing profile. Your profile on CREWbiz can be used to promote your skills and expertise to our member base of more than 12,000 professionals globally.
  • Discounted registration to the CREW Network Convention and the winter, spring and fall CREW Network Leadership Summits
  • Exclusive access to programs and leadership trainings, including the CREW Network Leadership Certificate program

What is the application process?

Please carefully review the Qualified Fields of Commercial Real Estate to determine which category you would best fit. If you are unsure please contact the Chapter Director at (770) 560-3329 or chapterdirector@crewatlanta.org.

CREW Atlanta's bylaws state that our membership composition must be at least 75% FULL Members and 25% Affiliate. We may suspend approving Affiliate Members from time to time if we exceed these percentages.

Two (2) current CREW Atlanta member sponsors are required for each application. Please enter the names and emails of your two (2) sponsors on the online application. CREW Atlanta will reach out to them.

If you do not know any current members, please attend one of our monthly luncheons (see our calendar of events) or contact the Chapter Director at (770) 560-3329 or chapterdirector@crewatlanta.org.

Affiliate Members pay a one-time administrative fee of $200. If one or more members from the same company is currently a member, the fee is waived. There is no administrative fee for the other categories. CREW Atlanta does not have a company/corporate rate.

Our members are approved on an individual basis and the membership follows the individual. If a company chooses to swap out representatives in the current year, then the new member must complete an application, and the CREW Network dues of $210 must be repaid.

Once the application and 2 sponsors are submitted, the application will be reviewed by the CREW Atlanta Board of Directors, at the monthly board meeting (4th Thursday of the month). You will then receive an email regarding your application from the CREW Atlanta Chapter Director.
