Atlanta Business Chronicle recently featured CREW Atlanta President and Holder Construction Vice President of Interiors Greer Gallagher in an executive profile, where she shared her inspiration for a career in commercial construction, her thoughts on women in commercial real estate and her plans for CREW Atlanta in the coming year.

“CREW Atlanta’s mission of influencing the success of the commercial real estate industry by advancing the achievements of women will be at the forefront of every endeavor,” Gallagher said. “As an organization with roots grounded in creating opportunity, we see a more equitable and diverse commercial real estate industry that starts with our members’ successes. We are charged with facilitating and celebrating that success.”

Gallagher shared that with few women role models in the industry, she had to define success on her own terms. She was able to find like-minded women through CREW Atlanta who provided a network of support as she grew into leadership and is now becoming a leader of leaders.

“I have been very fortunate to find mentors within my company who took me under their wings, and also building an external network of mentors and peers in the commercial real estate industry through CREW Atlanta, who have navigated similar situations,” Gallagher said. “And it is coming full-circle for me. I still rely on my relationships at CREW Atlanta for my own personal and professional growth, but at the same time, I am a role model for a new generation of women in commercial real estate.”
