The Communications Committee functions as a marketing and communications powerhouse behind CREW Atlanta and is focused on enhancing the image and credibility of the organization. As one of the largest committees, the Communications Committee positions CREW Atlanta and its members in a positive and professional manner through a network of communication tools including; social media, public relations, website, and the solicitation and creation of articles for the CREW Atlanta Blog. The annual CREW In Review publication is created by the committee.
Four subcommittees comprise the Communications Committee:
- Public Relations
- Social Media
Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month.
CREW Network Liaison Committee
The Network Committee increases members' awareness of the benefits, goals, and activities of CREW Network (Network of Commercial Real Estate Women), the global umbrella organization. The Committee is chaired by one of the two Delegates to CREW Network. CREW Atlanta maintains high visibility in CREW Network by participation at annual conventions and regional conferences, submitting articles to CREW Atlanta’s Blog and CREW Network newsletters, as well as promoting its delegates as potential CREW Network Directors. Each year the Committee reviews opportunities to present a program at the annual convention and solicits nominees for CREW Network's awards. Committee members may be asked to serve (if necessary) on a CREW Network committee or special task force. It is highly recommended that committee members attend CREW Network Leadership Summits and the annual convention. Other programs rolled out by this committee include e-Mentoring and UCREW which is a university outreach to real estate students.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of every other month.

The Leadership Committee is responsible for organizing and orchestrating Leadership CREW class comprised of approximately 25-30 CREW members on a bi-yearly basis. Every even year, the mission of Leadership CREW is to provide an opportunity for the members of CREW to examine issues affecting their roles and advancement in organizations and to shape strategies for their development as individuals, professionals, and leaders. The program runs for one year and entails class members participating in monthly half-day or whole day leadership classes featuring dynamic speakers who focus on all areas of professional and personal growth topics. The Leadership Committee holds a planning year on the odd years to establish the new Leadership CREW class and the next Leadership CREW class will begin January of 2018. The Leadership Committee is also charged with the task of planning and conducting Alumnae Events for graduates of Leadership CREW. These formal and informal alumnae gatherings throughout the year foster additional networking and leadership. You must be a CREW Leadership alumni to participate on this committee.
Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
Strategic Membership Committee
The Strategic Membership Committee's primary focus is the recruitment of new members as well as the retention of CREW's existing members. The Committee members seek to build a membership that is diverse in experience and profession with individuals who will actively participate in the organization. These efforts to create value for our members are supported by several initiatives, including: quarterly prospective member mixers which brief prospective members on the benefits of CREW and allow them the chance to get to know some of the Board and Committee members; membership renewals; and the planning and execution of two Committee Expos each year to help engage our members. The Strategic Membership Committee provides many opportunities to volunteer and/or sponsor as a means to promote your own business, and is an excellent way to be actively involved in CREW.
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, usually a lunch or occasionally a happy-hour meeting.
Member Services Committee
The Member Services Committee’s focus is to help new members become oriented with all of the member benefits of CREW. They host quarterly new member mixers to educate the new members on the different committees and members only events in CREW; they partner new members with a CREW Mate to meet them at events or for coffee; members will assist with introductions, completion of CREWbiz profiles and provide a friendly face at events. Member Services provides volunteers at each of our events to assist with registration and name tags as well as staffing our CREW Cares subcommittee and Birthday and Anniversary notes to members. If you love meeting new people and providing mentorship to a new member, this would be a great meeting to join!
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month.
The Programs Committee works to develop and deliver monthly programs on educational, timely and informative topics. Current topics, dynamic speakers and the chance to feature women in real estate result in programs that stimulate, inform, and inspire both members and guests.
Each year, the programs committee brainstorms topics, speakers and locations for meetings. Specific tasks include developing the program idea, securing and briefing speakers; determining the location and providing information for communication and marketing materials.
Committee members form subcommittees for each individual luncheon program. Subcommittees are responsible for obtaining speakers, gathering speaker(s) contact information and bio, coordinating all logistics and AV requirements, and writing the program summary.
Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month at 11:30 am-1:00 pm.
