Vision Statement: To be the premier real estate association in AtlantaMission Statement: To influence the success of the commercial real estate industry by advancing the achievements of women.
CREW-Atlanta is governed by a seven-member strategic board of directors that is elected annually by the membership. Two-year terms follow a calendar year, and elections are held each fall. The CREW-Atlanta board of directors meets monthly. In 2015 the CREW Atlanta Board of Directors adopted CREW Network’s mission statement “To influence the success of the commercial real estate industry by advancing the achievements of women” in order to more strategically align with CREW Network.

Happy CREW Year 2016!I think you will agree with me that 2016 is off to an amazing start – Dr. Marci Rossell’s annual economic forecast, the Leadership CREW retreat, our Sponsorship Appreciation event, the CREW Network Winter Summit in San Antonio – and that was only January! I am excited that Carla Harris will be sharing some of her “pearls of wisdom” with us in April. She is vice chairman, global wealth management, managing director and senior client adviser at Morgan Stanley. AND a professional gospel singer and bestselling author. Her most recent book, "Strategize to Win," was released late last year. I hope that you will join us for all of our educational and informative programming this year as we seek to drive the success of the commercial real estate marketplace in Atlanta and across the country.
A month into my presidency, I remain honored, humbled, excited and quite frankly, a little scared, to be leading such an amazing organization. But no good leader goes at it alone, and I am proud to have a strong Executive Director and Board of Directors to help move the work of CREW Atlanta forward in 2016. CREW Atlanta also stands on the shoulders of two special groups: our sponsors and our members who volunteer. Without these two amazing groups, we would not be the dynamic organization we are today, nor would we have the “reach” that we do. Those sponsorship dollars and countless hours of volunteer service have developed leaders in the commercial real estate industry who know how to go out and get the deal done. Thank you for all you do for our organization.
In her book Daring Greatly, Brené Brown defines a leader as “anyone who holds her- or himself accountable for finding the potential in people and processes. The term leader has nothing to do with position, status, or number of direct reports.” I take my leadership role in CREW Atlanta very seriously, and I hope to make 2016 a game-changing year for our members. In a world where “disengagement” is rampant, I want to “engage” with you about CREW and how we can build the business relations to drive both you and our industry onward and upward.
I look forward to a transformational year!
